A place to be

who you are.

The Feely Human Collective was founded in May 2020 to foster community and togetherness around what it means to be a feely human: emotional bravery, big-hearted activism, unbridled curiosity, mental health advocacy, community building, empathetic storytelling, collective liberation, and the biggest feelings you can imagine.

Between 2021-2022, I collaborated with Nōn, the founder of Feely Human, and created an interactive series called "Walking in Someone Else’s Shoes," aimed at spreading awareness of empathy. In the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, this project was a meaningful way to give back to the community and share love during a time of healing.

Making the world a more feely place, together.

  • 18×24in Poster

An interactive poster featuring a die-cut hole, designed to be held up to reveal and frame new points of view.

Putting on a new pair of shoes symbolizes stepping into someone else’s experience. Just as shoes shape the way we move through the world, each person’s path is shaped by their unique challenges and perspectives. By imagining what it feels like to walk in someone else’s shoes, we open ourselves to new points of view—building understanding, compassion, and ultimately, empathy

  • Post Card

This design features a variety of illustrated feet—diverse in size, shape, and style—accompanied by the quote, “Try walking a mile in someone else’s shoes.” Each pair represents a different lived experience, culture, or identity, visually reinforcing the message of empathy. By encouraging viewers to consider perspectives beyond their own, the piece serves as a reminder that understanding others begins with imagining life through their lens.

  • Token of Love

This coin takes on the symbolic meaning and turns it into a physical item to share a token of love. It is designed to be passed from person to person, creating a chain of connection and care. By giving the coin to someone, you acknowledge their experience and offer a moment of empathy. As the coin continues to be shared, it becomes a tangible reminder that love and understanding can be exchanged freely—building a quiet network of emotional support and human connection.

This wooden coin serves as a prototype for a metal coin, allowing for early testing of the coin’s size, weight, design, and tactile feel before committing to full-scale metal production. It provides a cost-effective and accessible way to evaluate the physical experience of the object, ensuring that design details—like embossing, edge treatments, and balance—translate well in the final metal version

  • Zine

An interactive zine designed with peel-off stickers that readers can remove and place onto designated areas throughout the pages. This hands-on experience invites readers to engage creatively with the content, allowing them to personalize the narrative or visuals as they explore the zine.

In the zine, readers are invited to peel off illustrated shoe stickers and place them onto different drawings of bare feet. This simple, interactive gesture symbolizes the act of "trying to walk in someone else’s shoes." As readers match shoes to unfamiliar feet, they’re prompted to reflect on the lives, struggles, and experiences of others. The act becomes a metaphor for empathy—reminding us that many people walk through life needing understanding, compassion, and support from those around them.

Zine
“Our bodies are all made the same.
And as we walk on this earth, our feet tell a story…
some with blisters…
some with support…
While some feet have support…
Others may lack.
and sometimes you need to give others some support.
Because something to remember is…Everyone’s shoe is different.
